| 裏面の説明 | A long cross pattée extending to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quarters, each ornamented with a fleur-de-lis in the Gothic style. The cross arms terminate at the inner circle, creating a bold cruciform design characteristic of late medieval Low Countries coinage. The circumscribed legend in uncial Gothic lettering, reading between the inner beaded circle and the outer beaded border, contains an abbreviated Scriptural invocation: SIT NOME' DNI' BENED', a standard pious formula on episcopal coinage of the period. |
