Reverse description The crowned heraldic shield of the city of Zwolle is prominently displayed at center, the arms quartered in the traditional municipal style, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The denomination mark flanks the shield on either side, clearly indicating the half-stuiver value. A Latin pious legend encircles the composition between the inner beaded circle and the outer toothed rim, executed in the characteristic hammered style of the period with slightly irregular letter spacing.
