| Descrizione del dritto | Armored and draped bust of King Christian IV facing right, wearing an ornate crown, with a ruffled collar and elaborately detailed armor visible at the shoulder. The royal effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque hammered style. Below the bust, an ornamental cartouche contains the king's name and titles in three lines. The date is split, with '16' appearing to the lower left and the final two digits to the lower right of the cartouche. The circumferential legend, separated from the inner field by a beaded border, reads REGNA·FIRMAT·PIETAS, with mint master initials and mint mark flanking the bust. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The elaborate royal arms of Denmark displayed as a central oval shield bearing three crowned lions passant on horizontal barry field, surrounded by nine smaller oval escutcheons arranged in a cruciform pattern, each containing the arms of individual territories of the Danish realm, including those of Norway, Sweden, Gothia, the Wends, Stormarn, Ditmarschen, Oldenburg, and Delmenhorst. The entire composition is surmounted by a royal crown and enclosed within a beaded border. The two-line circumferential legend, reading clockwise, contains the biblical motto from Proverbs 10:22. |
