| Aversbeschreibung | Within an elaborate baroque cartouche, the crowned shield of the County of Gorizia is depicted centrally, featuring the heraldic lion of Gorizia passant over a diagonally divided field. The imperial crown surmounts the shield, rendered in fine relief with arched bands and cross finial. Ornate acanthus-style scrollwork frames the composition symmetrically on either side, filling the field to the beaded border. No legend is present on this face; the entire design is devoted to the armorial device. |

| Reversbeschreibung | A four-line denomination and date inscription is contained within a symmetrical baroque cartouche that occupies the central field. The cartouche is flanked and surmounted by elaborate rococo scrollwork terminating in foliate flourishes. Reading from top to bottom, the text reads '1/2 / SOLDO / 1791 / F', with the fraction numeral at the apex, followed by the denomination, the year of issue, and the Hall mint mark 'F' at the base. The coin has no surrounding legend, and the plain edge is consistent with contemporary Tyrolean copper coinage. |

| Zusätzliche Informationen |
Gorizia passed to Habsburg control in 1500 and remained one of the dynasty's smaller Italian-administered territories, issuing its own distinctive copper coinage well into the late eighteenth century despite its modest size. Leopold II's brief reign — he died in March 1792 after less than two years as Holy Roman Emperor — means the production window for this type was narrow by definition. The county's separate coinage tradition was effectively extinguished shortly after, absorbed into broader Habsburg monetary consolidation during the Revolutionary Wars period.
