The imperial crown surmounts the shield, rendered in bold relief characteristic of hammered coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the design, with the circumferential legend in Gothic lettering occupying the outer border. The overall composition reflects the Habsburg imperial iconography standard to Charles V's Low Countries coinage. |
