| Reverse description | The reverse centers on the crowned arms of Zeeland — a shield bearing a rampant lion emerging from waves — surmounted by an elaborate floral crown. The date is divided on either side of the shield, with '17' to the left and '82' to the right. Two six-pointed stars flank the crown at the upper field. The circumferential Latin legend CONCORDIA RES PARVÆ CRESCUNT, meaning 'With unity small things grow,' encircles the composition, separated by a central dot stop. The overall design is crisp and well-centered, consistent with the milled coinage output of the Middelburg Mint. |
