| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I, rendered in late antique style typical of Ostrogothic imitative coinage. The effigy is presented in profile with drapery and armor visible at the shoulder. The bust is surrounded by a Latin legend in the field, identifying the emperor by name and title. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field occupied by the royal monogram of Athalaric, King of the Ostrogoths, composed of interlocking letters in the Ostrogothic tradition. The letters D and N appear on either side of the monogram, serving as flanking field marks abbreviating the royal title Dominus Noster (Our Lord). The entire device is enclosed within a beaded or laurel wreath border, a design convention commonly employed on late Roman and Ostrogothic small silver denominations. |
