| 正面描述 | Armored bust of Ferrante II Gonzaga facing right, wearing a high ruff collar and elaborately draped cuirass, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Ferrante II Gonzaga ruled Guastalla as a tiny imperial fief wedged between Parma and Mantua, with a population that never justified the ambitions of its coinage. The 70 soldi denomination is an awkward valuation almost certainly calibrated to circulate alongside the larger monetary systems of neighboring states rather than to serve any internal accounting need. Guastalla's mint output from this period is sparse, and Ferrante II's issues are among the scarcest of the minor north Italian Gonzaga branches.
