The date is divided to either side of the saint's figure, with the initials S and B flanking him in the field. A Latin circular legend reading PROTECTOR REIPVBLICE RHAGVSINE runs around the periphery, separated by pellets. The overall style is characteristic of late Baroque Ragusan civic coinage. |
