| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II facing left, wearing a Prussian Pickelhaube helmet surmounted by a spread eagle finial, with epaulettes and military cape visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the helmet banding, chin strap, and uniform ornamentation. The circumferential legend GUILELMUS II IMPERATOR curves around the upper field in incuse Latin characters, separated by a beaded border. The overall design is characteristic of the late Wilhelmine imperial portrait style, engraved by Emil Weigand. |
