| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Jigme Wangchuck, the second Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan, wearing a traditional ornate crown adorned with scrollwork and surmounted by a small bird finial. The effigy occupies the central field, rendered in moderate relief with fine detail on the collar and headdress. A Tibetan-script legend curves around both sides of the field, flanking the royal portrait. |
