| 正面描述 | Crowned effigy of King George VI facing left, wearing the Imperial State Crown rendered in fine detail with cross pattée and fleurs-de-lis. The truncation of the bare neck is cleanly cut, and the portrait is modelled in high relief after Percy Metcalfe's design. The circumferential legend reads GEORGE VI KING EMPEROR, separated by a dot mintmark at the base. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's inner rim. |

| 背面描述 | The central field displays the denomination and issuer in four lines — HALF RUPEE INDIA and the date — flanked on either side by an elaborate and densely rendered floral wreath incorporating symbols of the British Empire and India: English Tudor roses, Scottish thistles, Irish shamrocks, and Indian lotus blossoms intertwined on sinuous stems. Below the date appears the Urdu legend هشت آنہ (Eight Annas) in Nastaliq script. The entire composition is framed by a continuous beaded border, creating a rich and ornate reverse typical of late British India coinage. |
