| 背面描述 | Octagonal hammered silver flan displaying a multi-line Assamese script legend arranged in three horizontal registers within a divided rectangular central field, separated by ruled lines. The inscription references the regnal year of Gaurinath Singha's reign, consistent with the Ahom calendrical dating system employed on coinage of this period. The field is framed by a plain inner linear border and an outer border of continuous beading that traces the full octagonal outline of the coin, mirroring the design arrangement of the obverse. |

Gaurinath Singha ruled Ahom from 1780 to 1796, a period of severe political instability in which the kingdom fought to repel repeated Moamoria rebellions that had already toppled two of his predecessors. The coinage issued under his name reflects a state trying to assert functional authority while much of its territory remained actively contested.
Ahom silver fractions from this reign are routinely misattributed in older references due to overlapping regal types across late Ahom kings. KM#204 remains one of the harder attributions to confirm without die comparison.
