Beschrijving voorzijde Regal-style inscription in Nastaliq script filling the field across multiple lines, referencing Empress Victoria as sovereign authority, in the tradition of Mughal-derived princely coinage. The legends are arranged in horizontal registers with flowing calligraphic strokes characteristic of late 19th-century Indian hammered silver issues. A mint or regnal formula appears in the lower register within a plain linear border.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central field features a stylised jhar (plant or floral spray) motif with branching stems and blossoms, a dynastic emblem of the Kishangarh state, surrounded by Nastaliq calligraphic inscriptions referencing the ruling prince Madan Singh. The legends are arranged in curved registers framing the central device, consistent with the regal-style hammered coinage of the Kishangarh princely state. The overall design follows Mughal numismatic conventions adapted for local princely use.

Aanvullende informatie

Kishangarh's regal-style coinage was produced under the framework of the 1893 Indian Mints Act, which allowed certain princely states to continue striking their own silver currency provided it conformed to imperial weight and fineness standards. Madan Singh acceded to Kishangarh in 1900 at roughly fourteen years of age, making this a brief joint-authority issue — Victoria died in January 1901, hard-capping the production window to under a year.
