Obverse description Central field divided into four quadrants by a raised cross, each quadrant containing a stylized Buddhist auspicious symbol rendered in low relief. Upper left quadrant displays a floral or wheel-like motif, upper right a conch shell symbol, lower left a trefoil or cloud motif, and lower right a Tibetan character or vajra-related symbol. The coin's irregular round flan, characteristic of hammered Bhutanese coinage, is bordered by a raised rim with partial decorative elements visible at the periphery.
