| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears large bold Nastaliq Arabic script occupying the majority of the flan, with the ankush (elephant goad) mint mark of Ahmadabad prominently displayed in the central field. The Nagari syllable 'Ga' (गा), serving as the Baroda state identifier, appears to the right of the ankush. The design is divided by a horizontal line, with additional Persian script in the upper register. The overall style is characteristic of late Mughal-influenced Maratha coinage struck at the Ahmadabad mint. |
