| Obverse description | Hammered field bearing the AH date 1226 positioned at the upper right, accompanied by bold Arabic script legends filling the flan in the typical Mughal-derived style. The inscription is struck in high relief against an irregular planchet, characteristic of early nineteenth-century Baroda coinage. Pellet ornaments are visible within the field, framing the central legend. The overall design reflects the standard format used for coins struck in the name of Mughal emperor Muhammad Akbar II. |
