Reverse description Reverse displays a multi-line Arabic legend in Nastaliq script, divided by a horizontal stroke across the field. The upper register contains the regnal formula referencing the frozen regal year (RY 6) of Alamgir II, while the lower register bears the mint name Arkat (Arcot) along with additional dating elements. The strike is characteristic of hammered Arcot mint coinage, with bold but slightly irregular lettering on an uneven flan. The design is entirely epigraphic, conforming to standard Mughal imperial half-rupee practice.
