Obverse description The obverse bears a multi-line Persian-script legend filling the entire field, rendered in the couplet style characteristic of Mughal-derived coinage. The inscription, reading 'Sikka-e-Mubarak Badshah Ghazi Muhammad Akbar Shah,' proclaims the auspicious coinage of Emperor Muhammad Akbar Shah II. The legend is arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line across the flan, with pellet ornaments visible in the field. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a slightly scalloped rim, typical of hand-struck Indian coinage of this period. No additional decorative border or cartouche is present.
