Reverse description A crowned knight on horseback ('Guldridder') facing left, depicted in full armour astride a prancing steed, centrally positioned within an inner beaded circle. The equestrian figure is rendered in the characteristic hammered style of early Danish gold coinage, with considerable detail in the horse's mane, the rider's armour, and the royal crown surmounting the composition. The surrounding Latin legend MONETA NOVA AUREA 1611 runs between two beaded borders, with the date 1611 appearing prominently in the upper field. The outer beaded border frames the entire design on this plain-edged gold flan.
