| Obverse description | Central field features a multi-line Arabic Thuluth calligraphic inscription within a dotted inner circle, reading the royal titles and name of King Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud. Flanking the lower portion of the inner circle are two symmetrically placed palm tree branches, with a pair of crossed swords and a scabbard depicted below, forming the emblematic device of the Saudi state. The outer legend, running along the periphery between two beaded borders, reads the full royal title in Arabic script. The overall design is executed in high relief against a smooth field. |
