Reverse description Central motif consists of a large lemon fruit with two attached leaves, depicted in naturalistic relief against a plain field. Two smaller renditions of the Omani national emblem (crossed khanjar and swords) flank the central fruit at the left and right. An Arabic legend arcs across the upper field in two lines, followed by the acronym F.A.O. in Latin script below it. The denomination ١/٢ نصف ريال (one-half rial) is inscribed in Arabic along the lower periphery.
