| Obverse description | Central device depicts the national emblem of Oman: two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid upon a pair of crossed swords, rendered in fine relief against a plain field. The Arabic legend سلطنة عمان (Sultanate of Oman) arcs along the upper periphery, while the legend SULTANATE OF OMAN curves along the lower periphery in Latin script.
