| Obverse description | Armored bust of Albrecht von Wallenstein facing nearly front, wearing a prominent wide lace collar and a cloak draped over the shoulders. The portrait is rendered in high relief with considerable detail in the armor and drapery, characteristic of the prestige striking tradition of the early 17th century. A Latin legend surrounds the effigy within the square klippe format, attributing his full ducal and princely titles. |

| Reverse description | A large crowned composite shield bearing a thirteen-field coat of arms encompassing the heraldic devices of the Duchy of Mecklenburg, Friedland and Sagan, the Lordship of Flinsberg, the Principality of the Wends, the Wallenstein family arms, the County of Schwerin, and the Lordships of Rostock and Stargard. The shield is encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A Latin legend runs around the perimeter beginning at 2 o'clock, with the mintmaster's initials GE appearing in the field on either side of the shield. The date 1630 is incorporated into the reverse legend. |
