Obverse description The obverse displays the Peruvian national coat of arms at center, comprising a quartered shield featuring a vicuna in the upper left canton, a cinchona tree in the upper right canton, and a cornucopia in the lower half, all enclosed within a wreath of palm and laurel branches tied at the base.
