| 备注 |
The Banco del Litoral was a short-lived Argentine provincial bank operating out of Corrientes, and its 1875 fractional issue in Plata Boliviana — Bolivian silver — reflects the currency chaos that plagued the Río de la Plata region throughout the mid-nineteenth century. Bolivia's macuquina and later milled silver circulated widely across the northern Argentine provinces long after Buenos Aires had moved toward its own monetary standards, and pricing commercial paper in Plata Boliviana rather than pesos was simply practical for a bank doing business near those trade routes.
Fractional notes of this denomination from provincial Argentine banks are genuinely scarce survivors. Most were consumed in daily commerce and never returned for redemption.
