| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by the crowned royal cypher of Philip III — an interlaced 'P' and 'S' monogram — rendered in the characteristic rough style of cob coinage. The assayer's initial appears to the left of the monogram, with the mint mark to the right. A partial circular legend reading PHILIPPVS III D G runs around the periphery, though only fragmentary portions are typically visible on these irregularly shaped planchets.
