Reverse description A plain cross pattee at centre, its arms extending to a polylobed inner border decorated with fleurs-de-lis or trefoil ornaments in the four quarters, recalling the decorative vocabulary of Gothic ecclesiastical art. The cross divides the field into four equal sections. A Latin legend encircles the design in the outer border, separated by a beaded ring, completing the royal titulature begun on the obverse.
Reverse script Latin
