Reverse description Jerusalem cross with a bold central cross potent dividing the field into four quarters, each alternately bearing the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the cob (macuquina) style. The design is roughly struck on an irregular planchet, consistent with hammered colonial silver coinage of the Lima mint.
