| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device displays the Portuguese royal arms: five escutcheons arranged in a cross pattern (quinas), each charged with five roundels (bezants) representing the five wounds of Christ, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The shield composition reflects the heraldic tradition of the House of Burgundy as used under Fernando I.
