Reverse description Two crowned Pillars of Hercules, representing the Old and New Worlds, flank a central device of two crowned hemispheric globes resting on waves, the whole surmounted by a large royal crown. Banderoles or scrolls wind around each pillar. The mint mark 'Mo' and assayer initial 'M' appear flanking the date in the lower field, with the full legend encircling the design between pellet borders. This classic 'Dos Mundos' (Two Worlds) reverse type was the hallmark of Bourbon-era colonial milled silver coinage.
