Reverse description Central field features the emblematic sheaf of arrows (haz de flechas), the personal badge of Queen Isabella I of Castile, depicted with multiple arrows bound together and radiating outward in a sunburst pattern, rendered in bold relief. Flanking the central device on either side are the castles and lions, represented as stylized F and Y ligatures or heraldic elements consistent with the Castilian-Leonese royal arms in miniature form. The device is enclosed within a raised inner circle, surrounded by a Latin circular legend reading REX ET REGINA CAST LEGIO, identifying the monarchs as King and Queen of Castile and Leon. Punctuation marks and a cross separate the legend segments, as typical of Fernandine coinage. The surface shows characteristic hammered irregularities and natural toning consistent with an authentic example of this 15th–16th century issue.
