| Obverse description | Central field displays the royal yoke device, emblem of Ferdinand V, rendered in relief within a beaded inner circle. The yoke is depicted with decorative flourishes in the Gothic style typical of late 15th- and early 16th-century Castilian coinage. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery of the coin, partially visible due to the irregular flan characteristic of hammered coinage. The overall design is bold and deeply struck, with the beaded border providing clear delineation between the central device and the surrounding inscription. |
