| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crowned royal arms shield, flanked by the assayer's initial and the denomination mark, all within a partial encircling legend in Latin. Due to the irregular cob (macuquina) striking technique, the design is almost never fully legible or contained within the flan, resulting in partial impressions being the norm rather than the exception. |
