| Obverse description | Central crowned Gothic monogram of Enrique IV, formed by the interlaced letters E and H beneath an elaborate royal crown with fleurs-de-lis finials, all set within a beaded inner circle. The crowned cipher is rendered in bold relief in the Gothic tradition characteristic of late medieval Castilian coinage. A circular Latin legend runs within the outer field between the beaded border and the inner circle. |
