| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large Gothic crowned royal monogram of Enrique IV, composed of interlaced letters surmounted by an elaborate crown with fleurs-de-lis finials. The monogram is set within a finely detailed inner border of pellets or beading. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, separated from the central device by an inner beaded circle, with the inscription reading ENRICVS DEI GRACIA, proclaiming Henry IV by the grace of God. |
