Obverse description The obverse of this heavily worn milled silver coin displays a plain, almost entirely featureless field due to significant circulation wear, with only faint traces of what would have been the royal monogram or crowned shield design typical of Charles III bust coinage. Partial legend elements are discernible along the lower rim, including fragments of the regnal inscription and date, consistent with the obverse layout of the Potosí Mint half real series. The coin's small diameter and degree of wear render most central design elements illegible. The rim shows remnants of the circular Latin legend CAROLUS·III·DEI·GRATIA with the year of issue.
