| Descrizione del dritto |
Central field occupied by the quartered crowned royal arms of Castile and León, displaying castles and lions in alternate quarters, surmounted by an ornate royal crown. The armorial shield is flanked by supporters and enclosed within a circular border. The surrounding legend reads CAROL III D G HISP ET IND R in Latin characters, identifying Carlos III as King of Spain and the Indies. A small ornamental rosette appears to the right of the shield. The coin bears a small suspension hole pierced at the top, consistent with having been used as a pendant. |

| Descrizione del rovescio |
Central design features the Pillars of Hercules — two crowned columns with wavy lines at their bases representing the seas — flanking two hemispheric globes surmounted by a royal crown, the classic 'Columnario' or Pillar dollar motif. The legend VTRAQUE VNUM encircles the upper portion, the Latin motto meaning 'Both as One,' reflecting the union of the Old and New Worlds. The date 1760 is inscribed in the lower exergual area, accompanied by the Santiago mint mark 'So' and the assayer initial 'J'. A suspension hole pierced at the top of the flan is also visible on this side. |
