| Obverse description | Central field occupied by an elaborate interlaced foliate ornament of Almoravid style, composed of four symmetrically arranged scrolling vegetal volutes radiating from a central rosette of pellets. The design is enriched with small pellets nestled within the curling tendrils, creating a dense decorative composition characteristic of Andalusian and Maghrebi Islamic art of the period. The irregular flan edge is unbordered. No legible inscription is present on this face. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious and honorific legend arranged in a square kufic-influenced format, divided into quadrants by intersecting lines with a small pellet rosette at the centre. The inscription names the ruler Tashfin ibn Ali with his honorific title Amir al-Muslimin (Prince of Muslims). The entire design is enclosed within a continuous border of small pellets set against a flat field, typical of Almoravid fractional silver coinage. |
