Reverse description The reverse displays a bilingual denomination inscription presented in two horizontal lines across the field, with no decorative border. The upper line bears the Persian text 'Ad pai sikka' and the lower line the Devanagari legend 'Aadha pai sikka', both conveying the meaning 'half pice coin.' The deeply struck legends fill the plain copper flan in a straightforward utilitarian layout consistent with Bengal Presidency fractional copper issues struck at the Calcutta Mint. No additional devices, symbols, or ornamental elements appear on the reverse.
