背面描述	A pelican in her piety, depicted facing left with wings spread and head bowed, voluntarily wounding her breast to nourish three young chicks gathered in a nest at her feet, rendered in finely detailed high relief against a plain field. The exergue bears the date 1692. The Latin motto NON SIBI SED ALIIS (Not for oneself, but for others) appears in the outer legend, separated from the central device by a dentilated border, evoking the selfless pastoral ideal of the pontificate.
