| 背面描述 | The reverse features a bold three-line Latin inscription — AVARVS / NON / IMPLEBITVR — displayed in Roman capital letters within a richly ornamented Baroque cartouche formed by large acanthus scrollwork with lion-head and eagle terminals at the sides and lower border. Two cherub heads with outspread wings appear above the cartouche at the top of the field, presiding over the devotional motto. The entire composition is enclosed within a toothed milled border. |

Innocent XI — Benedetto Odescalchi — was elected in 1676 after two inconclusive conclaves and immediately set about reforming Vatican finances, slashing nepotism and court expenditure so aggressively that contemporaries called him a miser. The legend AVARVS NON IMPLEBITVR is drawn from Ecclesiastes 5:9, "the covetous man shall not be satisfied with money" — a pointed theological rebuke that doubled as personal self-defense against accusations that his austerity was mere greed rather than principle.
His pontificate is remembered chiefly for bankrolling the Holy League against the Ottomans, contributing substantially to the relief of Vienna in 1683.
