| Obverse description | Central field displays the oval papal arms of Innocent XI, featuring a double-headed eagle in the upper half and a rampant lion over three rows of cups (the Odescalchi family arms) in the lower half, all within a pointed oval shield. The shield is flanked by crossed keys of Saint Peter and surmounted by the papal tiara. Palm branches frame the shield on either side. The circumferential Latin legend reads INNOCEN٠XI٠PONT٠M٠A٠VII٠, and the coin is bordered by a finely milled edge. |
