Reverse description The arms of the East India Company displayed centrally, featuring a shield with the company's heraldic device, supported on the dexter by a winged lion rampant and on the sinister by a winged horse rampant. Above the shield, a camel passant serves as the crest. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield bears the motto GOD GRANT GRACE divided across three sections. The legend HALFPENNY arches across the upper field, and the date 1793 appears prominently in the lower exergue.
