The circular legend BIRMINGHAM MINING AND COPPER COMPANY reads along the periphery, and the date 1793 appears in the exergue beneath the figure. The engraving, attributed to W. Lutwyche, displays the refined neoclassical style characteristic of the best Conder token die-work of the period. |
