Reverse description The reverse features the Triskelion, the ancient heraldic emblem of the Isle of Man, depicted as three armoured legs conjoined at the thigh and radiating symmetrically in a clockwise rotation at the centre of the field. The legs are rendered in fine detail with articulated plate armour, spurs, and small star ornaments at each joint. The Latin motto STABIT QVOCVNQVE IECERIS arcs around the periphery in raised capitals, reading from the lower left, up and over the top, and descending to the lower right. The design is enclosed within a raised beaded border consistent with the obverse.
