| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is entirely textual, with no central device or effigy. A circular legend reading 'IN COMMEMORATION OF THE LANDING OF' arches around the periphery, while the central field displays in three bold lines 'SIR / CHARLES / HOTHAM', followed below by the date '22D JUNE / 1854'. A small ornamental stop appears at the base of the peripheral legend. The entire design is enclosed within a uniformly milled dentilated border, consistent with the obverse treatment. |
