| Reverse description | A full-length standing figure of a Highland warrior is depicted in the centre of the field, clad in traditional Scottish national dress including belted plaid, kilt, tartan doublet, feathered bonnet, and buckled brogues. The figure leans upon a tall staff or walking stick held in his right hand, while his left hand rests at his side holding a small pommel. Thistle plants appear at his feet in the lower field. The circular Latin legend THE GALLANT GARB OF SCOTLAND runs around the periphery, with a small cross ornament in the lower right, and the whole design is enclosed within a milled border. |
