Reverse description A detailed frontal view of a large multi-storey cotton manufactory building, rendered with rows of regularly spaced windows across two principal floors and prominent chimney stacks above the roofline, consistent with late 18th-century industrial architecture at Gatehouse-of-Fleet. The date 1793 appears in the exergue below the building. The circular legend PAYABLE AT THE HOUSE OF THOs. SCOTT & Co. runs around the full periphery, punctuated by a small floral ornament.
