Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse displays the triskelion, or Three Legs of Man, the ancient heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man, depicted as three armoured legs in plate armour joined at the thigh and radiating outward in a rotational arrangement at the centre of the field. The initials I D (for James Duke) flank the upper two legs, and the denomination fraction 1/2 appears between the lower legs, all in raised lettering. The circular Latin legend QUOCUNQUE · IECERIS · STABIT · ('Wheresoever you throw it, it will stand') runs along the periphery and is separated by decorative stops. The coin's border mirrors the obverse with a uniform toothed milled rim.
